This fifth edition is published at a time when the regulations that\u00a0underpin workers\u2019 protection are still under government scrutiny.\u00a0It is no secret that cost-cutting and an obsession with \u2018red tape\u2019 lie\u00a0behind the motives for reducing the impact of some laws, or even\u00a0repealing others completely.<\/p>\n
