The main rally was hosted by the union&#8217;s federation COSATU and the ruling party ANC in the Mpumalanga province.<\/p>\n<p>The rally focused on workers&#8217; contribution to the economy and industries, the plight of workers in the current labour context, strategies needed to assist workers in the anticipated labour context in the country and the region, workers&#8217; OHS\u00a0 including silicosis, heat stress and other climate change effects in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>The rallies were attended by the country&#8217;s president and various ministers.
