{"id":487,"date":"2015-04-28T10:00:09","date_gmt":"2015-04-28T10:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/28april.org\/?p=487"},"modified":"2015-04-27T15:02:00","modified_gmt":"2015-04-27T15:02:00","slug":"usa-an-interactive-map-listing-2014-workplace-fatalities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/28april.org\/?p=487","title":{"rendered":"USA: An interactive map listing 2014 workplace fatalities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several organisations, including the United Support and Memorial for Workplace Fatalities, the Center for Construction Research and Training, the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health, NENYCOSH, the National Council on Occupational Safety and Health and Global Worker Watch have compiled the largest <a href=\"https:\/\/public.tableau.com\/profile\/equitytexas#!\/vizhome\/2014USWorkerFatalities\/2014WorkerFatalities\">open-access data set of individual workplace fatalities<\/a> collected in the United States to date.<\/p>\n<p>Also published is a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/14clYglfNDqD3gti7PtGKzOM-56S5rqP6Iz1BY6BgKkI\/edit#gid=127773499\">listing of the details of 1,600\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0of the a<span data-sheets-value=\"[null,2,&quot;5. Approximately 4,000-5,000 workers die every year from a work-related injury in the United States. This data set provides information about over 1,600 workers who died in 2014, most from injuries.
